Most organisations have senior managers and executive members of staff. These individuals are in positions of high responsibility and have a wide range of challenges to deal with on a daily basis. Executive Coaching is a service that is used to make sure that businesses get the best performance out of their executive staff. The training is usually done in house or in a business environment and the main goal is to enhance job performance. Executive coaching can be done on a one to one basis or with a group of people. One to one coaching allows very tailored and specific coaching, whereas group training can improve the performance of a whole team.
There are lots of different skills that executive coaches aim to enhance. For example they might work on things like communication skills, leadership skills and working on improving productivity.
This sort of training is often categorised as motivation training because people learn how to get the best out of their job and how they can play an active role within their organisation.
There are a wide range of Executive Coaching roles available throughout the UK. If this is a career that interests you then you should look for career transition specialists and careers websites online.
